Anya Taylor-Joy
Anya Taylor-Joy grew up on April 16 1996 at Miami Florida. It is daughter to Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is a half-Spanish female who is half English. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English roots. Her mother hails from Spanish and English origin. There are five siblings, four from her father's previous marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was 6 years old. They then relocated to Victoria area in London. Taylor-Joy said that moving was traumatic and she refused to learn English because she hoped to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her school of choice after she transferred from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in plays. In the year she turned 16 she dropped out of school in order to follow a full-time career path in acting. As a child, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dream came true when she was approached for the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
