Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its debut season, grew into the most popular national star. The victory not only propelled her to fame but also earned an album deal with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since then, she has released a number of album studios. Three of them reached the US Billboard 200 chart, while others narrowly missed it. It's among the top artists that have come out from American Idol. The singer experimented and gained popularity with various themes and music styles, and often wrote her own songs. The uniqueness of her voice and singing talent earned her praise from critics and a number of prestigious award. Most notable is when she took home the Grammy Award three times.
