Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a singer, writer, director and producer. Her most well-known character is Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also acted as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson, born to a psychiatrist as well as an artist named Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 1977. Danielle is her older sister and is an artist. The father of Benson was Jewish as was her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to a Reform church in Alabama.
