AllisonAllison Brooks Janney was born in the year 1959, on the 19th November. 2. She is an American actress. The actress is known for her work across various categories on screen and stage in a career that spans three decades. Janney has been nominated for two Tony Awards and has been given one Academy Award as well as the British Academy Film Award. Her birthplace was in Boston and born in Dayton, Ohio, Janney received a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art following her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney was first seen on television in 1999 with the character C. J. Cregg as a character in the political drama of NBC The West Wing (2000-2006). In 2014, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in the Drama Series in the role of Margaret Scully on the Showtime period drama Masters of Sex. She is most famous for her portrayal Bonnie Plunkett.
